LOGO AND NAME IDEAS

Our original name idea was Thunderstruck. I began to think of past competitions when many people made their name something to do with speed, lightning and thunder. I also thought that Thunderstruck didn't have any meaning towards our team and it was only the first name we thought of. I am glad we changed our name to Synergy as I believe this represents us as what we are.

Synergy means the bonding of two atoms to create another atom greater than the sum of the two original atoms. This represents the bonding of our team with the sponsors to form a team greater than any other. We thought this would represent our team very well as we can get along with anyone and we want to enjoy our relationships with sponsors and maybe even help out fellow teams.

Our logo is an S and a Y bonded together. This isn't only the first two letters in our name but it also shows the friendships of our sponsors by the two letters being connected. I think the logo and the name represents our team very well and we will not let the name down.

We chose our colour scheme to be minimalistic with Orange, black and white. We chose the colour orange as it represents joy, happiness, determination, dedication, enthusiasm, creativity and also success! This can easily be recognised within our team so orange couldn't be better.
